So now Kovalev's trainer JDJ and JMM both talked about Kovalev fading, so Kovalev's "I didn't knock him out because I was trying to outbox him" looks more dishonest than when he first said it in the post fight interview. I already thought it was BS that you're a KO artist with all your titles on the line and your 0 on the line as well as fighting the toughest opponent in your pro career but you decide to play around and not use your strengh which is your KO power. JDJ confirmed it was fatigue and now pro boxers analyzing the fight are seeing that Kov didn't get the KO because he simply couldn't get it, not because he decided to be Floyd Mayweather Jr and win by outboxing Ward

No one ever said he went the entire fight not trying. Just after the KD he let Ward off the hook, I haven't seen a single post on here saying he didn't fade.

I don't care what posters are saying or what the forum consensus is about the fight, my post is not even addressing other posters opinions, my post is addressing Sergey Kovalev's own words after the fight. And if he let Ward off the hook after knocking him down, then that was pretty ******, but I doubt that's true because Kovalev is smarter than that. The real truth is that he couldn't KO him, not that he let him off the hook, a KO artist doesn't let anyone off the hook. Kovalev's prefight comments didn't sound like someone who wanted to let Ward off the hook if hurt him. That's bull****

To clear things up wether they have a interim fight or not they have to do it again get best judges and let's see who could do better and win clearer. Ward will be small fave

Kovalev is more the know it all type he wouldn't listen to a conditioning guru like mackie shilstone. Crazy that Jackson admitted he has to trick kovalev into learning something new. He gets in very good shape but not elite shape he did fade.

Kovalev did worse than ward in this graphic in terms of punches landed in the 2nd half of the fight, but as the image shows, and contrary to the exaggerated narrative that kova faded, krusher threw and landed considerably more punches in 2nd half compared to 1st half of the fight.

Anyway, kova won the fight. And ill bet anyone he wins the rematch
