Garcia will lose cause he has never fought a welterweight before

You nailed it. You can't say a good win in another weight class will prepare you for a top 5 in the weight class above - It just doesn't work like that unless the weight class above is very weak.

Garcia has yet to look good at 147 and was even troubled at lower weights by Herrera, Khan and Peterson. Thurman does have way more movement than Matthyse and I'm guessing he has more power than any fighter Garcia has yet fought including Lucas. I think Porter would run all over Garcia, too strong and would take Garcia's best punch.

I'm seeing Thurman by 3-4 rounds and maybe even an early to mid stoppage rounds 3-7.

It's a reason why the Garcia's are taking this fight now as opposed to earlier. Perhaps, they can perceive some minor/slight slippage or decline in Thurman's skill.

Garcia landed more POWER shots while Herrera landed more jabs.

Peasants needed to see Garcia lose and so with a few Coronas and some serious hate, they saw what they wanted to see.

              "But Mauricio's jab though..."

Thurman barely even weighs in over 154 for his in ring weight he's a small welter; while its well known Swift walks around at 170+

Exactly, it's a myth that Thurman is this huge welterweight. He usually weighs in at least 1 pound under 147, he's even weighed in at 145 and 144.

Fight is 50/50 for me... "Swift" looks strong at 147lbs & seems to have finally adjusted to the weight. Thurman has been shaken up a couple times & Garcia will easily be the strongest puncher he has ever fought. (Great fight)

I see this fight being action packed from the get go, both guys' lack of jab will make for an explosive fight, they both load up on every punch, we're going to see some vicious exchanges. That's a bad idea for Thurman though, he should use his legs, circle Garcia and shoot from angles. It'd be smart for him to frustrate Garcia into being over aggressive and walk him into counters.

I slightly favour Keith by decision, but you gotta be crazy to count Danny out.
