So, two weeks after the fight you're already on record saying that if the fight doesn't happen then Ward ducked. Which means no matter what happens in negotiations, no matter how money affects the potential rematch, you will say Ward ducked....with absolutely no foundation for the opinion.Comment

Sergey out of shape
You can admit it Freddie. Sergey will not be upset at you for the telling the truth! Sergey was out of shape and he cannot fight on the inside. Period. He was the bigger man and should have been the one beating Ward to the body and using his size. Instead he slowed as the rounds wore on. His own trainer admitted that he needs to be in better shape for the rematch!
Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is not convinced that a rematch will happen between light heavyweights Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev. Last month at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Ward (31-0, 15KOs) survived a knockdown in the second round to win a close twelve round unanimous decision over Kovalev (30-1-1, 26KOs) to capture the WBA, IBF, WBO world titles.
