Probably cause he's small. When he was on those PAC cards he would pitty pat all damn fight. We can appreciate his movement and such, but I don't think casuals give a damn about some unknown dude, "schooling" some rando bum with angles and movement

To me it's related to the weight class.

Who has been a draw in the last five years from 126 to 135? read I said last five years, so exclude Pacquiao, Morales, etc. I think even Gonzales is not a draw, and they put him in ppv #1 and make him fight on Golovkin undercards, but still he's a little man.

I think those weight classes are not interesting to the public. The public is interested in 147, 160, and the heavyweights. Honorable mentions to 140, 154 and 175 but to certain limit.

He is not *that* small, hes almost floyds size

but usually the audience who watch european fighters are into middle through heavy

frampton is also barely noticed despite being on fire

if he was mex or filipino (or beat their stars) he would be much bigger, bigger fanbases

The problem is that Arum and Top Rank are pushing Lomochenko too quick to win titles in different weight classes against the weakest title holders in each division. Lomo will never fight anybody who is a live body, nothing but old and inactive fighters are in Lomo's future. They better not be PPV

Arum will match Lomo well against the weakest champ at 135 and 140. Arum will just talk bad about any real threat to Lomo and us gullible fans will eat it up. There is a agenda in boxing and top rank will do anything in their power to have someone replace the old puppet Pacquiao.

Why do you think he's paying Lomochenko a million dollar purse? He's making sure Lomo doesn't bounce

That's exactly what I've said in some other thread about Lomacheko's potential to be a star

Loma is not able to be PPV attraction, same goes to ALL fighters from Russia/ex-Soviet countries

There's no way to sell them to American audience, you can try to sell them in Europe but not in the States

Black Americans hates them because they would unconsciously associate them with White Anglos who opressed them throughout all American history, so they can't accept Russian/ex-Soviet fighters like they accept White Latin fighters

White americans hates them because they would associate them with Cold War rivalry, "I must break you" and all that Rocky 4 ****, and a lot of them would get patriotic, screaming "USA, USA" trying to turn everything into a politic debate

Not talking about ALL of them, I mean the majority of these groups

Now both of these group of people might try to deny it and argue with me, but deep down they know I'm right.

Plus with that language barrier, all Russian/ex-Soviet fighters looks like robots with no feelings or charisma to American audience

To have good ratings he must attract casual people, not only boxing auditory. And to attract casual people he must have a good one media image and participate in different media events outside boxing world. Just as GGG does.

Something is wrong with that boy...at least when I watch a triple duck fight I see an ass whoopin either its him or the other bum getting it but a concussion is bound to happen..yep...and that Kovolov guy was doing alright too beating all thos journeymen and senior citizens until he met Andre Ward yep....nothing like American grade A school of boxing...but this Lomachenko reminds me of a clown with all the colorful outfits and backflips he does as his Puerto Rican cab driver lays on the floor looking on...man that reminds me he really is a weirdo! doing handstands juggling balls and solving puzzles...the more I think of it I'm starting to really hate the guy.

Yeah, this. Loma puts on boxing clinics. I think it's beautiful to watch personally but the casuals ain't about watching boxing clinics. The average casual is blood thirsty, thus the reason why the vast majority of casuals have moved on to MMA/UFC.
