You continue to call the fight a robbery. That's illustrating you don't understand what a robbery is, and cheapening the term.
I gotta go with Bozo, terms like underrated and robbery are thrown around irresponsibly. And I cant stand hearing about people running from others and ****, prove it! Quartey wasn't robbed, he just didn't get the decision in a close fight that could've gone either way. De La Hoya was the aggressor down the stretch and Quartey never turned it up when he needed to. He fought in the same speed and couldn't keep up when De La Hoya stepped on the gas.

One thing with these great fighters like Leonard and Ali and De La Hoya is that they know how to win these type of decisions. When dealing with great fighters, you have to be ready for them to go into desperation mode and go all out to try to steal fights in the last quarter of the fight. If you ease up and let them finish strong, they will get the benefit of the doubt 9/10 times. Thats why they often get the benefit of the doubt in these controversial decisions.

don't tell me i don't know what i'm talking about, watch the fight again.
I don't think to highly of this Bozo clown, myself. But he has a point. Your trying to turn a close fight into a complete robbery. And you can't do it with this fight. It's not possible. They both showed each other to much respect for most of the fight. Neither dominated. Leave it alone. Your showing your limitations by continuing to argue.

Agreed, I had DLH winning 115-113 also. In my eyes DLH has only lost 2 times, hopkins and mosely 1.

I think that was a close ass fight, but De La Hoya stepped it up and dropped him late.

I've haven't dis arguement before. Just hearing it sounds funny and I have to laugh in response to "Quartey was robbed".

I watched that fight on PPV years ago with a group of people and they all said DLH won from their non boxing enthusiast standpoint. I Downloaded the fight about 2 years ago and seen it about 4-5 times since. I had DLH winning and I HATE his guts and I really wished Quartey did more to win but he didn't.

Quartey wasn't robbed. It was a close fight but the 12th round with 10-8 round for Oscar. I had into the eleventh round with DLH one round lead and the twelve round made it a clear win with a KD.

If you had Quartey ahead 6-5 into the 12th DLH wins. 114-113 Oscar.
If you had Quartey ahead 7-4 into the 12th DLH loses. Quartey wins 114-115 .
IF you had Quartey ahead 8-3 into the 12th, Quartey wins 115-112.

I'm not saying hes on their level, Im saying he employs the same tactics of stealing rounds and rallying late to pull off controversial decisions (See Quartey and Molina)

Funny, Leaderman gave 7 rounds to 5 to Molina and Sturm against DLH, only Molina was knocked down in the first round real quick. DLH tries it, but he cant really do it. Hes not that great...
