    The lack of survival instincts is a very good point.He was too pure a boxer if anything. Looked a bit like Wlad when he was in trouble. Desperately reaching with those long arms, with no real understanding of how to tie up.

            Yeah good comparison. I just watched Hearns vs Leonard and Hearns vs Hagler and in both fights he just didnt know what to do when his opponent had him hurt.

            A better question for the thread imo is "is Hearns impossible to outbox at 147?"

            Because theres a few (not many) who I would pick to beat him. Outboxing him is a different question. If Benitez and Leonard couldnt do it then you know the list is going to be very small.
