i'm pretty sure pbc has been taking notice. Fan of boxing rather see fights on tv then a paid subcription.

Hbo has link their bankroll to a bunch of non american fighters.

Canelo-ggg-kov-lomo-ortiz-klis... That the basic american fan can't connect to them.

Not that the pbc is doing better, but they do have the biggest stars in boxing

Fine but there hasn't been a network TV fight in like 4 months, and all the scheduled fights are Showtime. So there's your pbc, doing Fnf numbers on Sho for 100x the cost.

I think the lateness of the main event is a mitigating factor, but it's always bad news when a live fight on HBO draws less than 1m viewers IMO

If Arum delivers on his plan to have Loma fighting three to four times next year, I think he will see a steady increase in fans. Consistency is the route to take in building a fledgling fanbase. I also feel like Loma should be fighting on the East Coast more often. Isn't that where all the Ukrainian-Americans are at?

Those sports have seasons dummy, packed schedules when it's on. How do you compare that to this fcuking mess? A guy like Loma would get 1 date a year on PBC, Showtime or Spike doing a small fraction of these HBO ratings. Wake up dumbfcuk

These viewer numbers seem bog standard. Definitely a decline here. HBO on a downward slope of the less money invested less viewers less money less viewers cycle.
