He's not a counter-puncher who waits for the opponent to fire before firing back.

Pac uses feints too (an underrated part of his game), and much for the same reason.

Pac has always had speed on his side, and he's still fast, but not AS fast as he was. Gary Russell has faster hands (not no power), and could only connect with 10% of his punches - Pac won't connect as often as he is used to.

Last ko from Pac was 2009. I don't see Pac getting a KO in there (its the punch you don't see coming - can't see Loma not seeing something coming). Its points or a Loma KO.

The one thing Pac WILL do in there is keep changing the look. Walters only had one gear, so by the time Loma had him programmed in, Loma knew what Walters was going to do before Walters did, so Loma could do literally anything he wanted to.

Changing the look sets Loma back to the intel gathering stage temporarily, so he can't go up through the gears so easily. Its pretty much the ONLY way to compete with him, and Pac's got that game (as did prime JMM).
Believe me, not oblivious to any of that but again, Pacquiao can still shoot straight lefts down the middle as well as anyone and Lomachenko's lack of reach will force him to be in the line of fire for far too long. You can think side stepping should suffice but it won't because Pacquiao's punches can be unorthdox, I've seen guys try to pivot out of the way and get hit because they don't have control of distance, Lomachenko wont have that control.

Secondly and more importantly, Lomachenko isn't that big to begin with, isn't a big puncher as it is and it takes time to build the necessary strength to tangle at these weights.

    I don't think we're being realistic here.

Interestingly, vs Salido, Loma was 136 on fight night (Salido 147). vs Walters he was 137 on fight night (Walters 136).

Loma's not putting on much weight between fighting at 126 and 130.

That's where I think the problem is, 135 is low for Manny and 140 is to high for Lomo. Even in the middle at 138 wouldn't be good for either fighter.

LOL and this why I got your lame azz on block, Pacquiao ain't chit now, Lomachenko is a far superior product, Pac did the same things Loma did but now Pac is slower, flat footed, cant knock anyone out. The fight will be made at 138 trust me, if Arum wants it at that weight Pacquiao will give it to him.

Lomachenko will have a field day, Salido weighed like 148 on fight night and Lomachenko withstood Salidos onslaught, and Salido is a thudding puncher, Pacquiao doesnt have that concussion power that Salido does. Salido walks around at 155 pounds, he is naturally bigger than Manny but just drains himself, it surprises me that Salido can still fight at 130 being he walks around in the low 50s.

Lomachenko will toy with Manny, Saldio is a body puncher, Manny rarely goes to the body, and he doesnt have the killer instinct.

Just tell the truth Lomachenko is the Matrix!

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
This fight, if it gets made, will be like Gamboa vs Crawford.

Pac @ 135 and rehydrates to 144 would be too strong for Loma.

Even welterweight much much heavier wont trade with Pac

Salido has 13 loses, if you let him fight Manny he'll get knock out, the reason why he can't KO opponents now is because they are bigger and always on the run.
