You can't take off 2 years and come back at age 39, and beat GGG, even @ 170! It's crazy to even consider it...unless you can make $100 million dollars!

Froch is finished. If he came back GGG would batter him. He looks good with his new nose. Dont want to see that splattered all over his face now do we.

Knowing Hearn he'd probably prefer an in-house Froch-Cleverley fight.

Carl should stay retired but it's a shame he didn't take the Chavez Jr payday in the past, that would've been a fun beatdown to watch.

"Exchanged harsh words over social media" - so if reports are true, Golovkin's camp insisted on Ward coming down to 164 yet they would consider 168-170 for the retired, out of shape Froch? Unbelievable. Hopefully none of this is true. If it is, it only backs up what Matt Korobev said about Golovkin being a matchmaker. Hell, forget putting on weight - just stay at 160 and stop ignoring Erislandy Lara. Everyone rants about all the people supposedly ducking Golovkin yet ignore the fact that he's been openly avoiding Lara at all costs. Hey Golovkin & Sanchez - Lara is right up your alley, a smaller guy who isn't a puncher. Come on, if you could squeeze in a 'fight' on HBO against unknown, light hitting Dominic Wade you can surely make room for reigning champion Lara. He's even offered to fight you at the full 160, no catchweights. You and Abel always have alot to say - why all the silence when Lara keeps calling you out?

Let's say Froch gets back to where he was, or close. Then risk/reward for him seems pretty good. It would be a huge fight, if he wins he is KING and if he looses well... It was a comeback, he was old, he already had other losses etc.

I see GGG winning though, but yeah, given Froch can get back close to where he was I can see why he would take the fight.

Just the thought of Carl Froch coming back to save boxing would be nothing short of a dream come true. If anybody had to do it, it's definitely Carl Froch.

It would of been some fight to have watched a few years back.
Now though, with Froch having been retired this long, at his age and going up against a real top fighter. I just don't see it.

It looks like one that is going to keep getting brought up. But i doubt there's any truth in it.
