Why does he need Saunder's belt? I'm pretty sure he can fight without that and he has leverage already in Golovkin negotiations. One thing for sure he is more likely to fight Saunders than a KO artist like Lemieux or Jacobs. Bought judges scorecards go out the window if you're flat on your back.

It's true that he's been a pro longer than GGG, but that's not his fault that GGG waited long to go pro. Just look up Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Cotto, and see what their resumes looked like at age 25, then compare them to Canelo! Kirkland and Angulo at 154 are better than Brook, Wade, and Willie Monroe @ 160! I'm just sayin'!

Angulo is better than Lemuix. He beat the guy in 1 round that beat Lemuix!

Because if you are than you should know that by 25, Floyd had already fought the likes of Chicanito Hernandez, Manfredy, Vargas,Corrales, Castillo, Matador Chavez, El Famoso Hernandez and had beaten the top champion in two classes in Chicanito and Castillo. Canelo won his titles facing the weakest champion or fighting for a vacant title.

I like Jacobs, but if I were Loeffler, I would have forced the purse bid a long time ago! By now Jacobs would've signed, or vacated! Saunders is the target! If Canelo gets to Saunders first, and gets that belt, the $10 million dollar offer might go to $8 million!

...or Jacobs would've kept his belt, and DiBella/Espinoza would've used the bid procedure to bring a Golovkin fight to Showtime, leaving Loeffler with a decision to make.

I think Canelo's resume is very comparable to Floyd, it might not be better, but it's very close! The difference is that Floyd won them all! However, I think Trout, Mayweather, Angulo, Lara, Kirkland, and Cotto is a very nice run for a 25 year old man! No disrespect to Corrales and Castillo intended!

This could be very true! I just think this is taking too long, and we should be watching the fight next week, not in March!
