Is the "GGG" a major draw in the UK (using Brook's name) the biggest stretch?

He sold 600,000 in PPV sales in the UK and act like he's the main reason why he sold those PPVs but fail to mention it was against Kell Brook who has a big fan base there. I understand GGG helped sold it because everyone headliner needs a dance partner but he's not the main reason why it sold 600,000. GGG wasn't on PPV in the UK prior and people were booing him when he fought Kell Brook. Is this the biggest stretch you've heard? Have you heard worse?
GG brought in most of the PPV buys, because the debacle with Canelo and his back and forth comments with Froch gave him a lot of exposure.
Many fans tuned in to see what all the fuss was about.

The fight done well because it was Kell Brook getting a big fight against a feared opponent and jumping divisions to do it.
You can tell by the crowd reactions also, everyone was there supporting Kell.
The fight would have sold out instantly and done the same numbers if Eubank had taken the fight.

He wasn't second fiddle.
People tuned in to see GG because of the headlines he'd been making.

Brook was a last minute replacement for Eubank.
GG-Eubank was also going to be PPV.

Brook has been headlining and selling out arenas for years, Jr is still fighting on undercards of good shows.
Brook was the draw, Brook had all the support; Golovkin was a feared opponent, that's all he brought to the table.

I'm a Jr fan, but a Eubank-Golovkin fight is not selling anywhere near 600k. It would be lucky to sell 200k.
Kell Brook getting a big fight (and a dangerous one) is what sold that fight.
You're kidding yourself if you think GG-Jr would only have done 200k. Why do you think GG was given a flat fee of $5m, and Kell accepted the exact same terms that Eubank was offered?
Not only would a Jr fight have equalled the PPV, it may even have surpassed it. Because an awful lot of people would have wanted to see him get bashed up due to the ridiculous comments made by his father.

I'm not saying Golovkin vs John Ryder could ever be a ppv in the UK, but his presence is pretty significant. We'll see if Brook/Spence is ppv worthy.
His fights with Bizier and Dan weren't on PPV.

Man, this stuff is way over analyzed by fans.
Using Brooks name? I mean, GGG might be a bigger draw ALONE in the UK than Brook is right now.
I don't see the logic in these kinds of analysis. It's like, they fought, neither of them has to use each others name and they would still be associated with each other.
