Is the "GGG" a major draw in the UK (using Brook's name) the biggest stretch?

None, I think the last PPV he did before GGG was Frankie Gavin watch all the tears of Brook fanboys come back to attack us.

GGG was the only reason this was a major event...
    No GGG, no multiple belts
No GGG, no potential P4P 1 spot

Stay salty Brooktards, GGG nearly took that boys eye right out its socket ffs I think we should just call GGG Negan

Eddie Hearn said that one reason Kel was keen to fight GGG was that he was tired of being ignored and overlooked.
I was at Jr's fight with Blackwell, thousands of tickets were given away

Eubank calling out Golovkin was news because he was doing what no other MW was doing. Outside of that Jr has a star persona, but is not a star attraction. He's still an undercard fighter on big cards while Brook has been headlining and selling out arenas for years.

Deliberate lies are exactly what Golovkin fans specialize in. Whatever lie is needed to make him look good, they run with.

Kell Brook quit like a biatch and Eubank Jr didn't even show up to the plate lol GGG stays exposing British 'elite' fighters

I'm a GGG fan and I've been a fan of Brook for years so I'm not trying to run him down. But, among casual fans and the general public, Jnr was better known than Kel and there was a real buzz building in the UK for a Eubank/GGG fight. That's all I'm saying.

Golovkin will never be on UK ppv unless fighting a UK fighter. Brook was the main draw.

It was basically the situation that made it a big sell.

I doubt Brook does those numbers against anybody else, apart from Khan, Manny and Floyd. Even a fight with Canelo wouldn't have sold as well as Brook v GGG because Brook moving up to fight a fearsome KO artist is what was marketable about the fight. Obviously Canelo is a bigger draw in general in world boxing, but he's not that well supported amongst "casuals" in the UK. In this situation, Golovkin's reputation provided a very good marketing angle for the fight.

I wouldn't say GGG is a big draw here in the UK, but i do think a lot of boxing fans were excited to see him fighting in the UK, so he deserves some credit for the numbers the fight did. GGG v Saunders wouldn't do the same numbers that GGG v Brook did, so that basically answers the question. To sell in the UK, He needs dance partner that is already a good draw but as i say, Brook isn't Joshua, he doesn't do huge numbers regardless of who he fights, he also needed a dance partner and Golovkin was perfect to get people intrigued.

Golovkin v Eubank Jr and DeGale would both do healthy numbers over here and the cumulative effect of headlining two or three big PPVs, even as the B-side, would certainly make him a star over here. If I were Loeffler I'd be aiming for one of those fights in the summer, between Jacobs and Canelo. Froch would be the biggest fight of them all, of course, but I'd rather he took on an active fighter than a retired one

Hard to say how Warren's BT Sport deal is going to pan out, but it could potentially make Saunders a draw as well

Looots of potential business for GGG in the UK

I'm not not like you, I don't come here with an agenda to discredit and **** on any boxer. But you are the one telling lies here.

Before he fought GGG, Kel Brook was a highly respected fighter with UK hard core boxing fans, but he was NOT a Sky PPV star.

Kel was paid £400k for fighting Gavin .. thats a 10th what he got for the Golovkin match, and the show, with Anthony Joshua on the bill, had a buy rate of 139k, compared to 500k+ when Kel fought GGG.
