Is the "GGG" a major draw in the UK (using Brook's name) the biggest stretch?

What were GGG's numbers before that fight? Was GGG on PPV in the UK before?

Brook/Vargas got bumped in favor of Golovkin/Eubank. Was Brook/Bizier, Brook/Gavin, or Brook/Ion a ppv show? Chris Eubank fought Doran on Joshua's undercard and before that his show vs Blackwell was a small one on CH.5.

I'm not saying Golovkin vs John Ryder could ever be a ppv in the UK, but his presence is pretty significant. We'll see if Brook/Spence is ppv worthy.

I'm a Jr fan, but a Eubank-Golovkin fight is not selling anywhere near 600k. It would be lucky to sell 200k.

Kell Brook getting a big fight (and a dangerous one) is what sold that fight.
I'm talking about BEFORE that fight was booked and promoted. There can be an argument made that Eubank would have been bigger. Of course Brook is bigger now because he got thrust into the spotlight and Eubank sat on the shelf. If the roles were reversed, no one would be talking about Brook, not in any positive way.

And, people weren't more inclined to buy that fight because Brook was putting himself in a dangerous situation. That only hurt an illegitimized the match.

Brook v Gavin was a PPV headliner. Can't remember about the others

You either live in Sheffield and never set foot outside the place or are telling deliberate lies. The whole damn country was talking about Jnr's challenge to Golovkin and Kel's proposed fight with Vargas was way under the radar. Only hard core boxing fans knew anything about it. Eddie Hearn said that one reason Kel was keen to fight GGG was that he was tired of being ignored and overlooked.

Brook has always done big numbers on Sky, much bigger than Eubank Jr

                AJ-Breazeale did around 700/800K

Brook vs Gavin wasn't a headliner, it was on the under card of Joshua vs Johnson. Kel had never headlined a PPV show till he fought GGG.

Where are you guys getting this nonsense from? Kel had never headlined a Sky PPV show till he fought GGG and his biggest ever purse was just over a million dollars for Porter in the US.

I'm not talking about PPV. He has always done big numbers on Sky. This is a fact. Which part of my post is nonsense?
