Golovkin's team never rejected Ward at 168. They simply told Ward he would have to wait two years for the fight.

So, instead of beating golovkin and then his fans screaming he was too small, he went up, fought and beat the top guy at lhw...Ward took the risk, and it paid off. When do you think Golovkin will do that? I'm betting...well never.

Ward walks around 180, lil g weighed in at 172 during his 30 day weigh in for Murray after months of training camp. He's not a small guy, he's a natural light heavy.

No I don't believe in the ducking GGG myth. He was swerved by by Cotto and Canelo for the same reasons he swerved Ward. There's no money in fighting him. He can't even pay his opponents more than $1.5 mil but if you listen to Loeffler he's the biggest draw out there besides Canelo. If you heard a fighter has sold out on both coasts and international, you'd think that fighter is a star that can afford to pay his opponents good money. They made more money fighting each other. And now he's saying $10 mil is a low ball?!?!? It's double what he's ever been paid PLUS the reward is huge!! Canelo is doubling his PPV's fighting no names. If you're saying $10 mil is a lowball I expect you to be able to pay your opponents $3 mil and yourself $5mil but he can't even do that. Holy crap you're ******ed. The fight wasn't sensible. Loeffler turned down the offer to fight Ward because by then they had a contractual mandatory for the Canelo-Cotto winner after Lemiuex (this has been said millions of times at this point).

How could one fault them there? Again, turning down the fight all together is not turning down the terms. Also if what Golovkin and Loeffler were saying about Ward turning down a fight in 2013 wasn't true then you best believe Ward would jump on that being the kind of person that he is. Also Roc Nation wasn't with Ward in 2013.

"Turning down an offer" to fight @ 168, 50/50 split, is "rejecting" an offer to fight! I don't care what the reason is, the offer was still "rejected." I don't blame GGG, because he was looking for more money, and less risk, by going after 2 guys who never fought @ 160!
