No what I expected but still good money.....here's why

So they made $10.4 mil in PPV not assuming anyone bought HD. They also sold international rights for probable $5-10 mil plus merchandising and gate. So this event brought in $15-20 mil on an aggregate basis. Not to mention local impact to Vegas casinos and hotels. Maybe not what we expected but to say it was at a loss I can't see that. I would say Duva and Roc Nation were left with roughly $5-10 mil to divide among theme selves after everyone was paid. Not a big payday given the effort put in but not a losing effort.

After the fighters and cable outlet are paid, HBO takes their cut leaving the promoter to divide it up...I don't know if they made out.

          We'll see.

Personally, I believe Deontay Wilder is a PPV attraction. He has the radiant personality and one punch KO power. But he needs a dance partner.

Its also a fraction of the cost. 17 pounds in fact which is under 25 dollars compared to 60 dollars that ward kovalev was

and to be honest people were right not to pay for it. Cause for 70 dollars you got no undercard and a main event that turned out to be pretty dull. And everyones saying the fight was dull apart from on this site, allthebestfights.com gave it 2 out of 5 stars which is about right, barely a clean punch landed in the second half of the fight

you must sell the EVENT. Mayweather was a boring boxer but he SOLD the EVENT. Simply a good vs bad element. The Fighters have no PERSONALITY to sell. Great fight sells nothing. NAMES SELL FIGHTS. ALI said it best. He said, I don't care if you PAY to see me win or PAY to see me lose, as long as you PAY to see me.
