and yet, Kovalev could not beat him

and neither could anyone else in the last 20 years

that can't all be hometown cooking LMAO

Tszyu was correct when he said that Kovalev/Jackson/fans need to focus on why Ward won that fight, not blame the ref or invent conspiracies about the judging.

How did a one-handed fighter control the distance/pace and dictate how that fight unfolded, especially considering the fact everyone was saying that Kovalev will end his career?

Rigondeaux is #1 , Lomachenko # 2 , Golovkin #3 has to fight big name and beat him to become #1

If resume is what the P4P is all about then no resume is better than Pac, But the fact is pac is partially retired so I consider kovalev as #1 and Loma, GGG comes next

I agree, no one has a better resume than Pac. Real talk, these fighters fight so little now days it's hard to tell how good he could really b. Smh least that dude fights champions with belts.

if p4p is based on resume , how can ppl not mention danny garcia? defeated herrera, khan, peterson, morales, matthysse, judah and is clashing with thurman next. .

            resume p4p
            1. hopkins (still active) 2. pacquiao 3. ward 4. garcia 5. bradley

if p4p is about skill set than that's all opinion, so it depends what style you like

            skill set p4p
            1. ward 2. loma 3. rigo 4. crawford 5. lara/roman

but if p4p is all about "what have you done for me lately" and how well a fighter performed recently

            1. loma 2. ggg 3. crawford 4. pacquiao 5. ward

so mixing all these together (resumes, skill set, recent performance and accolades) here's my p4p

            1. ward 2. pacquiao 3. loma 4. roman 5. crawford

            #6-10 il have
            6. canelo 7. danny 8. kovalev 9. rigo 10. ggg

Yea, real strict criteria...like in order to understand it you have to be delusional

If everyone was the same size in boxing and all had the same skills, who would be the best boxer in the world? For me it would be Rigo and then Loma. Ward and Kovalev have good skills but are they really as good as the smaller guys?

Ward is my favourite fighter atm but there's no way he's more skilled then the smaller guys.

The only way Ward would be number 1 is if we were looking for the most dominant fighter in boxing, him being the king in two divisions now makes him a strong candidate but Rigo is the same only he's more dominant in his fights.
