Rigo never had to win via robbery, Rigo clearly ahead of him.

Kovalev still ahead of Ward but I put Ward just into the top ten for having a few decent rounds against Kovalev but like it is you don't win championship belts by fighting as timid as Ward did not unless you're getting a home town decision.

TBH I thought that was a close fight and could have gone either way but I was left really disappointed with Ward, I thought he was going to make Kovalev look like a fool. I think Ward has slipped because of the inactivity and age and also Kovalev is better then I thought.

As a few people have stated, the lb4lb list isn't based on any real measurable means if assessment, but the top spots are typically held for undefeated fighters with championships in more than one weight division, or a boxer with an incredible resume although he has lost some fights(quality of opposition)..with that said my "made up lb4lb rankings" would look something like this
        1. Ward
        2. Roman
        3. Inoue
        4. Golovkin
        5. Kovalev
        6. Rigo
        7. Garcia
        8. Canelo
        9. Loma
        10. Pacnuts

In terms of skills, I think Rigondeaux is even better then floyd.

            DIsagree with Loma's resume.

Ward best clear win is Froch.

Kovalev best clear win is Jean Pascal.

Loma just white washed the Axe Man, a two division champ who beat Darchy and Donnaire in great fashion.

Loma also beat G Russel jr who happens to be a great win too.

Regarding GGG sad to say but Loma has way better wins with less than 10 fights.

I had expected to see Ward put on a boxing master class but same as you left proven wrong, I had only felt like that would be the case because I wasn't sure how good Kovalev was.

Kovalev is better than Ward now for me he showed so much more to his game than Ward he can beat Ward at his often utilized grappling technique which I hate watching (It's not boxing) and like I also predicted a few months ago Kovalev is very capable of fighting Ward at range some people on this forum didn't believe me I said the only way Ward wins Is If he brings it on the inside which he didn't do much of so for me he absolutely didn't deserve the nod his work wasn't better than Kov's.

Maybe in a rematch Ward will get on the inside more often hopefully without clamping of arms and what not I want a clean fight and a referee that will not allow dirty tricks.

Some people will burn you for saying that but I agree with you.

Floyd best asset is his mental strenght/unlimited self confidance.

Rigo is a more polished fighter IMO, who won 2 OG gold medal wich is a helluva accomplishment.

Rigo has more tricks in his book than Floyd.

But Rigo doesn't have the will or mental strenght Floyd has and will never accomplish half of Floyd's career, will probably lose down the road despite being an alien in the ring.

Ward is better than Kova as a boxer.

Ward had some ring rust, he wasn't ready to fight a fight of that magnitude, probably shoulda fight a Badou Jack or a Jean Pascal to get ready.

They understimated Kova's skills and that's why I wanted them to lose (I'm not a Kova fan).

Ward went from a lay off and a couple of fights vs C fighters to fight a A fighter who happens to be a destroyer who can box.

                    Ward will win the rematch.

But he lost that first fight, Kovalev showed more skills, more variety in his punches, he just busted Dre through the whole fight.

Sad for Kovalev because he coulda grab a great win but the judges favoured Ward, decision I disagree with.

Explain how grappling isn't part of boxing?
