He's lucky Lomachenko doesn't have much power.

The WORST label a fighter can have is the dreaded "Quitter" label. The Duran/Leonard fight was before my time so I don't know what happened. But most of the ppl who do know him know him more as the "No Mas" man then what he did in the ring.

Actually he would of been LUCKY if he did... Quitting is worse than losing by KO in the eyes of almost EVERY fighter.

Good decision to quit. Let's be fair, Lomachenko is not a tune up fighter. First fight that Walters has had this year and also at 130 lbs he doesn't have as much power. Give the guy respect, we don't want to see guys getting hurt in boxing.

I understand feeling there's no hope & not wanting to take unnecessary abuse, but this guy's Jamaican. That's a proud fighting lineage to betray like that. His dumbass corner should have at least told him to go down from the next body shot that he took.

Ya I was thinking the same thing, idk what fight that guy was watching. Maravilla was beating Jr. down, and showboat'n with it.

actually we do. ..think of every fight labeled "fight of the year", guaranteed somebody got hurt in it. if walters quit because he didn't wanna get hurt maybe he should retire.
