who cares. I dont. He didnt have a hope and he was starting to take a beating. Its up to walters what he wants to do, is a cold lonely place in that boxing ring when you are getting outclassed i imagine. Easy for everyone to moan at him but they arent the ones gettting punched in the face.

Walters was completely outclassed what did y'all expect him to do get knocked out or take pointless damage to shorten his career, you guys would be begging your trainer to throw the towel in against loma.

This is what Walters should've done...would've been a much better look if his corner appeared to have stopped it. Instead, Walters stopped himself while his corner tried to protest.

Take a risk. Change things up. Go all out. You don't give up as soon as the other guy starts putting it on you. If anything Loma's increased offense gave Walters more chances to land a fight-changing punch. Instead he quit. All he had to do was go out there for one more round and fight a little desperately and fans would be okay with him giving in.

Boxing has seen fighters in a lot worse scenarios than Walters come back to win fights. He barely tried. He showed no heart.

****, just last week Ward was in a pretty terrible spot. He got knocked down, he lost the early rounds, he was up against the biggest challenge of his life, and he fought the **** back. That's what boxers are paid to do.

yeah, dont know why people are taking it so personally. its easy for people to say, he should have done this, he should have done that, its a bit different in the heat of the moment. May have been things going on outside of the ring that impacted him psychologically too. People should pay this guy a bit more respect for what he has done prior to this fight

He should've tried for at least another round. Its not like Loma was causing serious damage.
