Like everyone where I work watches UFC occasionally but when it comes to boxing they havent heard the name of Mayweather.

I like both, I prefer Boxing at this time but I think MMA is more natural in a way. MMA seems more human though, man vs man no rules(few rules).
MMA is more popular than a sport that's been here for centuries? You gotta be Dave Chapelle because this is a joke.

Im saying it has more casual fans from my own experience. Boxing has more hardcore fans that watch every fight of their favorites. Im a fan of both, I watch very very little MMA. But I watch ALOT of boxing of guys I never heard of / cared about.

Boxing is just throwin arm's but if you don't got speed or power your useless in the sport. UFC and PRIDE bring out the deepest fighter in all men cause you can bring your entire set of instincs to the fight.
Please go to a UFC website ASAP.

I agree Boxing is more dangerous because the fights are not normally stoped on cuts because of the larger gloves. You are able to withstand more punches to the head without really going to the ground. Boxing is more dangerous because the fights last longer.

Seriously get punched bareknuckle, your going to feel like a mother****er and look like one. Get punched with gloves, the force is spread through a larger area so it wont hurt as much but your brain is still slamming against your skull just as hard.
          1. you haven't put on the gloves in while have you?

          2. you haven't hit somone with a bare fist in a long while have you? i remember team-mates have to explain to the coach that they can't train because their knuckles are so brused up from street fighting, one even had to go to the hospital to check his knuckles, you can break your hand easier without a glove when hitting somone on the forehead then you will with a glove, and the glove will do just as much damage if not more! - i'd say with a glove its worse, i say this by personall experiance.

Im saying MMA is more natural, its more animal instinct in us. Its more human to win any way you can, we have instincts aswell. Boxing is a "civil" way of fighting that doesn't come natural. Our anserstors weren't in caves only throwing fist until someone falls. They used their legs to kick, punched, grabed, threw, slammed, elbow... Its animalistic. I dont think you understand what Im saying. If you did you wouldn't be argueing with me.

                2. Thats what I said

i don't think you've ever boxed to know the danger, the will, the mentality needed to succed in boxing, the punishement you have to be willig to take, the sacrafices you have to make in training just to be able to compete , just to be able to come out alive and not let your fear get the best of you

ufc is wrestling, too much wrestling for my taste, if i was 8 years old again i'd probably be interested in the ufc as i was in the wwf when i was 8 years old,
All that can be applied to any fighting sports, from boxing to kick boxing to the UFC. All those sports require will and heart, but the UFC and PRIDE is the place where everything go's. You can bring boxing/kickboxing/and submissions. The submissions I'm not too fond of but the UFC purest's love the science behind the boring submissions the same way boxing fans love the boring pitty pat fast jabs/straight rights.

I like boxing cause its straight to the point with just punches aloud and I love the UFC cause they are just ****ers that get the job done.

Ive actaully posted before I just admire the man for being a good family man and being able to balance his career and his family. His family come first. Hes also a swat member in Croatia, and I heard he was a congressman, but i have my doubts their. I just think he is a really good man.

Plus from the few fights Ive seen and all of his highlights I like his calm but animalistic fighting style. Its weird how that works.

I dont know for sure is animalistic is even a word but whatever.
