How is Golovkin at #3 and Canelo at #11???
Golovkin's best wins's are (Geale, Lemiuex, and Murray)
Canelo's are (Cotto, Lara, and Trout) it's not hard to look good when you fight C level fighters

Loma moves into my top 10 for the first time. I actually sat down and made up a list, the first time in almost a year so this is how it looks almost at the end of 2016:

        1. Sergey Kovalev (moved into no. 1 following Wladimir's loss last year, maintains position)
        2. Gennady Golovkin (maintains position from last year)
        3. Roman Gonzalez (maintains position from last year)
        4. Saul Alvarez (moves up from last year)
        5. Terrence Crawford (moves up from last year)
        6. Manny Pacquiao (drops 2 places from last year)
        7. Carl Frampton (moves into top 10 for the first time)
        8. Tim Bradley (moves down a place from last year)
        9. Vasyl Lomachenko (moves into top 10 for the first time)
        10. Adonis Stevenson (moves down from 9th)

Kovalev, Ward, Gonzalez, and Lomachenko are clearly the 4 best fighters in the world. Throw Pac in there if you want to as well.

Bradley, Canelo and Crawford all deserve a shout in that argument tbh

                1. Lomachenko
                2. Crawford
                3. Gonzalez
                4. Kovalev
                5. Ward
                6. Golovkin
                7. Pacquiao
                8. Frampton
                9. Usyk
                10. Cuadras

Some explanations: Lomachenko and Crawford have the best recent wins when you account for the manner of victory. Usyk also has a good one, but his resume is just a little too thin right now for me to place him as high as I think his talent will ultimately warrant. Frampton too is in great form, but a level below the likes of Loma, Usyk and Crawford in terms of raw talent in my opinion. I thought Kovalev edged out Ward but it's hard to separate them until the rematch. If you rank Gonzalez near the top then Cuadras, who gave him hell, should be on there somewhere. Rigondeaux and Estrada are dropped due to inactivity
