Current version of pac..is a lot more of a counterpuncher.. If you watch him closely.

Lomachenko is indeed more fundamentally sound. Pac just evolved through experience.

Lomachenko still has that fearlessness...Lomachenko has a great jab to open up his arsenal. Pac's jab has never been a strength. Pac still wants to be aggressive but not 'careless'.

Pac's jab is a set of for an either feint for the straight left or upper cut, or a feint for a straight right feint, left feigt and right hook.

Yep...at this level...his opponents know this, but still can't stop it. It's the footwork.

Before I comment on the actual topic...Did I really just read and see someone say Pacquiao is a 1 dimensional fighter?? Really? I could write a full blown essay on how Pacquiao has so many different dimensions to his game from his ring IQ, to his counter punching, to his feints, to how he uses angles, to his ability to block/catch pumches with his gloves, his understanding of distance etc etc. but I'll just leave it with this. You Don't and Can't win 8 world championships in 8 weight classes by being a 1 dimensional fighter.

As for the similarities between Pacquiao and Lomachenko on the offensive end. They both throw that straight left when angling right very well. I also notice how they both throw straight lefts to the gut which sets up a straight left upstairs when their opponent is expecting a straight left to the stomach.

I don't take Wraps seriously when it comes to Manny Pacquiao topics because he underrates him and ****s on him.

To connect he has to close distance and take risks to get in range. And as a southpaw, he's prone to get hit by the right. Other than JMM, who has his timing down.
He uses lateral head movement behind a porous earmuff type defense when he isn't fire back or he uses his legs, if it wasn't for his activity, his opponents would tune him up with shots even if they went down eventually.

You can take away someone's height and reach advantage. That's not the best excuse.

A guy like Lomachenko is levels above Manny to be honest, p4p, Lomachenko is basically our new Floyd. He would bully Pac. Out gun him.

Pac throws straight shots and is a one dimensional boxer puncher with average defense who relies on pressure, volume, and power. Lomachenko is basically a complete fighter to enjoys headhunting and will throw at a high volume to take you out. He does many things Manny doesn't:change speeds, throw punches from different angles in transition, and slip and roll mid combination and adapt to the fight without slowing down his offense.
Have to disagree with you on that Loads, Pac has a lot of x-factor type, nuances to his game. If you want one-dimensional, look no further than a guy like Felix Trinidad.

Pretty clear that Manny beat up too many guys that Loaded rooted for, because he has a serious hatred for him

Pac's style with change if and when he moves down. Dude can't be careless in the ring with true welters. Lil' Azz Pac would get sparked if he did. At lower weight classes with less power hitters, Pac will be more offensive unless he gets tagged.
Marquez is still in Pac's head and that is why he will not take any chances more than necessary. Roach and his corner will calm him down in between rounds and instruct him how to score without taking punishment. At 38, that is the right move. He still schooled Bradley and Vargas which, IMHO, are top 10 welters.
