GGG is absolutely not better or as diverse, skilled or as big.
Kovalevs far more precise, uses angles better, better combination puncher, far better counter puncher.

I know its not a popular opinion but its night and day and he's shown it at at the highest level.

GGG gets whitewashed by Ward
Kovalev is flatout better than GGG in every department.

I said it after the Hopkins fight, Kovalev moves a million times better than GGG, and is able to beat slick moving type fihters, because of that.

GGG makes up for his plodding movement with his technical skills. Kovalev is a technical fighter with very good movement. He doesn't have to make up for anything. And on top of that, hes always in the advantageous position, because of his power.

Brook did fight at MW early in his career, and once at SMW, before he decided to focus on cutting weight to make 147.

No doubt he would have benifited from fighting at least one tune-up against a decent level MW before going in with GGG though, but that wasn't how the cookie crumbled. Eubank Jnr wouldn't sign the contract to fight Golovkin, and Kel Brook stepped up and took his place.
