Michael Nevin is Ireland's most accomplished underaged boxer ever.
I've been impressed with Hutchison since the beginning though.

Nikita Piskunov beat Toltayev rather easily at last year's World Junior Championships. Shame one of them got robbed. LOL

HI-TECH Boxing[/MENTION] 's favourite, Marc Castro, is on next

In round one I think Abdurasulov has played right into Castro's hands and allowed the fight to turn into a scrappy affair

Some heavy shots exchanged in round two despite the scrappy inside work and Castro's nose is bloodied, but Abdurasulov seems to have lost his temper and is deducted a point for fouls

Round three is a war, but Castro seems more comfortable in this kind of fight and lands the cleaner blows while Abdurasulov becomes increasingly ragged

        Castro gets the win
Ha. Castro shouldn't be there in the first place.

Erdemir is the first Turkish boxer I've seen that wasn't a stocky pressure fighter. Could be a star in the making, like a Turkish Rabii
I agree. I have liked what I've seen fro Erdemir since last year.

Gutsy round two from the German but he's clearly outgunned. Nurmaganbet's offensive arsenal is beautiful but I've noticed that he has no defence apart from his feet, so if you can catch him flat-footed he's a sitting duck
I was also quite impressed with Nurmaganbet since his first fight. I think the Middleweight final will be a good one.

Lucky for you he's boxing brilliantly again. He really is like a slightly more offence-minded La Cruz. Somewhat less Neo-like, but also seems sturdier

He's definitely more offensive-minded than La Cruz.
He got hit a little more than I'm used to seeing, I know crazy.

The Indian had a solid round three actually

Uzunian looks sharp. Do you know if he's faced Pero before? His handspeed could be an asset in that match-up

I don't think they have faced each other before. Pero just moved up to 91kg this year.
Uzunian will definitely be a problem. Uzunian has been one of the better Russians in this tournament.
That should be a good fight between Pero and Uzunian.

Yeah I'm very impressed. That should be a great final

I think it's a one hour wait until the next session now

I wonder how much USA boxing paid to get Marc Castro a gold medal. I don't know what they see in this kid. It's going to be hilarious when he becomes more known and what people have to say about his "skills."
When he is able to get going he is effective though. I'll give him that.

Yeah, I believe it's an hour break.
