So probably the 2020 games would repeat a lot of fighters because the 2016 fighters were so young.
Yeah, most of the guys that won Gold in 2016 are young enough to comeback to defend at the 2020 Olympics.
I think Dusmatov and La Cruz will retain their titles and Yeleussinov if he decides to comeback. Everyone else I could see being dethroned.

Popov was being compared to Lomachenko early in his career. I don't think he fights like Loma but I think I understand why they would compare Ilya to him.
I believe he was undefeated for while. That's probably another reason why he was being compared to Loma. As far as I know he lost his first fight in 2013 in the Final of the Russian Nationals.
If I'm not mistaken he only has two defeats. That's one of them and he suffered his second defeat this year. It was a controversial defeat, however. He lost to an Azerbaijani in Azerbaijan. I didn't get to watch it so I don't know what happened, but from what I understand he was robbed. This happened before the European Championships. Popov went on to win the European Championships and boxer of the tournament, while the guy that "beat" him lost in the first round.
This is the info I got. I'm not 100% sure if this is all true.

Lovely counter-punching from Tsutsumi in the first bout of the session. And a nice lead left from his Uzbek opponent. High quality fight here

Japan (Tokyo) is hosting the 2020 Olympics, obviously.
Don't be surprised if Tsutsumi gets a lot of hype going into the Olympics. Especially if he wins this tournament.
The host will more than likely take a Gold medal. Will it be Tsutsumi?

Dos Santos (CUB) vs Grau (FRA) @49Kg. Speed movement and accuracy from the young Cuban, darting in and out, though with Grau having his moments in the first.

EDIT: Ummm. I think that might be 50Kg.

Better upper body movement and volume from Dos Santos, Grau more defensive. Rnd 2 to the Cuban.

Crespo's feet are ridiculously fast, reminds me of Argilagos

I think Crespo gave up that last round.

The French southpaw having a bit more success, but still struggling with Dos Santos' speed and movement.

                  3 - 0 Dos Santos, for me.

                  UD from the judges.

Crespo could be a potential rival to Robeisy Ramirez.

Nikita Piskunov beat Crespo wide. I'm still mad that they would rob a talented fighter like Piskunov for a crap fighter like Marc ****ro.

Another slick southpaw Turk, although he doesn't look quite as good as Erdemir

Does Turkey have a new Cuban coach or something?
