    Alex Stewart, a heavyweight contender who fought Mike Tyson and nearly beat George Foreman, has died. He was 52. Stewart died last week after being rushed to a hospital in Mount Vernon, New York, said Mike Gilberg, a close friend of the former fighter. He had a blood clot in his lung, Gilberg said.

          Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about that. I remember his fights with Evander Holyfield, George Foreman and Mike Tyson. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.

            Shame. Watched many of his fights back in the day and always saw a fighter who had a lot of talent. R.I.P.

                    RIP Alex Stewart

                    I watched a lot his fights when I was a kid in the early 90s. He should have got the UD against Foreman.
