Ward earned his first loss and a$$ kickin by the obvious damage on his face. Definitely didn't earn 3 belts after being knocked down by hitting and holding and riding a bike. He should apologize for not being honorable and giving those belts back.Comment

He explained why he wouldn't have complained if the score went the other way. He says right before that statement that it was a close fight which could probably have gone either way, which is accurate.Comment

Bradley got death threats.
Bradley had smarks debating the scoring for months afterwards.
Bradley had people swearing that the judging was corrupt.
Bradley had people actually telling him to give the belt back.
Tim Bradley considered suicide, it was that bad.
Same situation with this outcome may very well have happened. Hell, Ward might have gotten Russian mafia threats or something. His statement is trying to get in front of it and at least acknowledge (whether he's lying or not) that he would have accepted a close loss.Comment

Thanks for summarizing that. If you're going to respond try to acknowledge the context; 'I EARNED the victory that could have been a loss' - if you don't think there's anything odd about that then I won't try to convince you otherwise.Comment

it is funny as hell that you joined boxingscene as one of those spastic pac-tards..... but then decided to reinvent yourself as this amazing underground Bruce Lee type-guy who could beat classy boxing pro's as a 16yo MMA fighter
jeez you dumb fk, what a clown HAHAHAHHA
I am actually an astronaut..... and in my spare time I advise various governments on finance/security, stuff like that
when I have finished solving global warming, maybe I will start boxing and be tough..... like you

do you have any other cool stories that you could tell us bro?
LMAOComment

Dude, what don't you get about "it was a close fight?"
Andre never stated that he dominated Kovalev but merely that he thought he did enough to win a back and forth fight.
For example, Sean Porter thought he beat Keith Thurman but didn't complain when Thurman got the nod because he knew it was close.Last edited by Johnwoo8686; 11-24-2016, 08:59 PM.Comment
