Why should he apologize? Even though I felt Kovalev won a close fight he knew what he signed up for. He knew unless he had a clear dominating victory he was likely to lose on the cards.
He didn't keep his foot on the gas while Ward fared much better in the second half of the fight. When the fight ended I felt Kovalev won but I didn't think he would get a decision unless he got another knockdown in the second have of the fight.
With that said I think Ward fares much better in a rematch. He seemed comfortable with Kovalev's pace and seemed more willing to trade once he figured out Kov's timing. Think it would be a one sided fight in a rematch.Comment

Very very close fight to where I had it 114-113 Kovalev or a draw at worst. The rematch should prove who is the better overall. Hopefully Kovalev works on his stamina in the rematch as he was tiring the second half as the first half, he was giving Ward lots of problems.Comment

True grit
TRUE GRIT. Both Men. Ward just a little bit MORE. Kov has a chance to redeem himself in next fight.Comment

if you suspect that texas and I are the same person, then complain to the mod's..... because that is against the boxingscene rules, and is a BANNABLE offense
the reason why, is because texas got banned recently, and I have had this account for a couple years..... making that illegal
you would get rid of us BOTH
they can easily check the IP range, subnet, gateway, etc
you can't hide a thing when it comes to Information Technology..... that is just a simple log search..... I have worked as a computer systems engineer for the same IT company for the last 16 years, with the low-level access that boxingscene gives me with this account, and some easy/difficult "tweaks" I could do it myself and post that information for you
not that I would ever do that to boxingscene, or to Tex
do it, I dare you..... gimp
it is pretty obvious that we live on different continents LMAO
how does that super-deflection, make you any less of a tool ?Comment

I don't think that the rematch will be one-sided, but I do think it will favor Ward.
of all the factors that will change, or affect, the rematch..... the biggest factor will be.....
that Ward was underdone leading into the Kovalev fight, he will be much better having those 12 tough rounds under his belt + he knows Kovalev inside out now.
That will be the factor that has the most influence on the rematch.
sure Kovalev can train harder, and work on new techniques..... but so can Ward..... and he will, you can bet on that
Those 12 tough rounds, and 1 more specialist camp with Mackie Shilstone to improve/settle at LHW, will make more difference than any other factor.
It will not get any easier for Kovalev that's for sure.Comment
