Exactly!...Andre got up and put the systematic beatdown on kov...a lot of all time greats and hall of famers have losses but what Ward did was incredible...showed tremendous heart and focus...them body shots man...

He gets credit for facing a great prime fighter for sure. I'm glad they made this fight happen.

But of course, the controversial ending does taint the win. A rematch should bring about a more clear winner, but who knows?

The record books unfortunately years from now will tell new fans that the better man won, which doesn't reflect reality. Of course, at least, they'll have the video to judge for themselves.

No, definitely not. When you bring him up, every idiot on here is going to yell Super Six at you, but the Kessler fight ruined a lot of that IMO. If the fight had been a fair one with at least points being taken away for the fouls, then it could have gone the other way. I notice there was never a rematch either.

I mean, the guy clinches and bends the rules way too much. He's boring to watch. He's low energy. He brings no excitement. He got a gift against Kovalev. I do have to wonder if he didn't have a name going in against Kovalev, would he have gotten the nod? Would anybody even be talking about it or would it have been another defense for Krusher? I think it would have been looked at like the Chilemba fight myself. All in all, he hasn't done much for this sport. There is no doubt.
