I thought it was a good fight, but I don't know about a great one. Can that compare with Gatti-Ward or Barrera-Morales? I'd say definitely not. It was good though, but Ward didn't bring on the entertaining side of it that much to me. He threw little as usual and it turned into a slow chess match. Those are never that entertaining to me. They can be but just in spots here and there. I prefer more high action I guess. Frampton-Santa Cruz was more fun for me.

I can't remember a fighter as disgusting to watch as Ward. Hell, even Wlad is a whole lot more watchable. Doesn't cheat anywhere near as much as the piece of scum Ward either.

It's totally subjective .. is a guy who gets clipped by a monster of a puncher and gets back up to show tremendous heart and grit not exciting in itself ..? Style aside ?

I find his fights against top fighters pretty good. When he can do what he wants he's one of the more boring fighters in the sport.
