It's Time to Tell the Trut Ward Apologist (Who am I kidding)

After Brooks, the Ward fans came out in force with the E-word. Well **** it, want to talk about exposed. This idea Ward couldn't be beat was shot down last Saturday. What we now know is what Ward has always known, that his chance at winning is highly reliant on factors his opponent can't control.

• where is the fight at (Ward won't leave US and mostly Cali)

• Judges, was there any doubt why they wanted American judges. The negotiations were tough because that's what Ward knows he needs.

• The ref, Ward needs a ref that is going to be loose with the grappling moves. If Ward had a ref that followed the actually rules of boxing, he'd be screwed. No mire pushing opponents head down. Rushing foward like a bull with his head down. No holding, pushing then hitting during break.

If Ward doesn't have these kinds of advantages, he'd be screwed.

He doesn't want to fight Stevenson because he knows dude is strong and can ****. Ward may not get a political decision against a friendly neighbor Canadian.

Ward put up a valiant effort against Kovalev but Stevonson ain't Kovalev. No light heavyweight out there can stand in front of that left hand of Stevonson.

and how many people saw it? his attendance at fights has been going down, his tv ratings have been going down, and so have his purses. hes had the opportunity to fight kovalev on hbo ppv for 2 years now and he refuses.

People hate Ward so much that they're defending the guy who actually spent years ducking not only Kovalev, but all the best light heavyweights in the world.

For me, the rematch with Kovalev should be first in line then any other champion at 175 after that.

What I find it interesting is that at 168 Ward never fought Bute who was the other champ at 168 - I know Bute ended up losing to Froch but it would have been interesting if the two had fought.

Now at 175 Ward is saying no to Stevenson who is the other champ - I hope this is not the end of it. I think it's an interesting fight.

If Ward wins the rematch with Kavo then as a fighter he should show interest in Stevenson. He should not get caught up in the politics of who can't do business with who.
