It's because the fights were close and could have gone either way a rematch was warranted.Comment

trolls aside, when you have posters saying, "it was close" "it could have gone either way" or "i can make a case for kovalev winning too", that's their way of saying: "yeah, they fucking robbed him, we know it but since we were cheering for the other guy we don't give a fuck lol"
Why do you refuse to admit the fight was close when basically every single scorecard from press row was close and a quarter of them had Ward winning?
And your logic is flawed because I was cheering for Kovalev.
It was a close fight and plenty of people feel that way, it's just that simple man.Comment

I notice a certain demographic always tried to obfuscate from a bout by bringing up irrelevant points. Floyd landed at a Much higher connect percentage and had cleaner more effective shots than Kovalev. So even with Maidana's pristine body work he was still vastly outmatched.Comment

Simple, a lot of the early fight was spent feeling each other out.
Anyone could see those body shots diminished a lot of Kovalev's power and hand speed later on. Not to mention he was looking a bit winded at certain points like when he fell under the ropes. It also significantly cut into his ability to cut the ring off which even Roy mentioned.Comment

Surround dirty tactics with boxing technique in a skillful way and what can they say?
Hopkins did that for a long time.Comment
