You clinched the entire fight man...... you should have been deducted at least 2 points for wrestling yet the ref would warn Kovalev instead. You stunk up the joint and got dropped...... the fix was was in.

I have to disagree with you bro, the only way Ward can became a super star is if he trash talks, same as Floyd, Floyd Mayweather's style isn't exciting but he trashed talked his way into stardom, Ward is trying to follow in his foot steps

Ward was indeed frustrated and intimidated, AND DROPPED, those first 5 rounds, no matter what b.s. bluster he's going on about now. And got a Vegas gift decision. And got 5 mil when the promoters knew he wouldn't bring any excitement to the ring... and the champ got 2 mil. This was a pre-decided robbery.

He also lost the 6th round ,with the knock down added by rnd 7 he needs a knock out to win..more than the bias and wrong views on here ,im more baffled how this fight is in the "HARD TO SCORE " categorie world wide when Kovalev not just landed more but landed the more effective punches.

Boxing is as easy to score as any combat sport bc you are just scoring punches , its just baffling that the Champion /aggressor lost to the guy back pedalling /here and there body shots landed and got the nod in a Championship fight and because he (Ward ) a few rnds not convincingly it was enough to erase the first half of the fight ..

yeah I don't think he can be a super star but i do see him becoming a big name, esp if Kovalev-Ward did good numbers, and then if Canelo-Golovkin doesn't go through we might get Ward-Golovkin

Now you guys see why Triple G's team DUCKED Ward. That was a good call, he would stop Triple G (just wanted to throw 1 to the body), Kovalev was good and still is, he just faced his toughest competition EVER and gave the #1 P4P Champion a very close fight. So he should be #2 P4P. And they will do it again...Kovalev should target Adonis for his next fight, take his belt and come bring it back to Ward. for the next fight.
