Kovalev won, but he was not the "Krusher" we are used to watching! We didn't see it in the Chilemba fight either! Will we see it in the rematch?

I do have some respect for Kovalev. He is better than I think but he didnt beat Ward. He got beat. he managed to negate Ward's inside game through his excessive holding but he had to do what he had to do. Unfortunately his effective work rate was not good enough and he lost.

Did he think that the millions watching and everyone in the venue was a casual boxing fan who doesn't know about him being heavily dropped by Boone?

Now you guys see why Triple G's team DUCKED Ward. That was a good call, he would stop Triple G (just wanted to throw 1 to the body), Kovalev was good and still is, he just faced his toughest competition EVER and gave the #1 P4P Champion a very close fight. So he should be #2 P4P. And they will do it again...Kovalev should target Adonis for his next fight, take his belt and come bring it back to Ward. for the next fight.

"he would hit me with a big shot and i would come right back" hmm yeah with a little shot and you landed less of them but yet you still won. now that is great boxing.

He did it right. Ward knew he lost after the fight before the decision. SOB just acted all smiles after Buffer announced the decision which probably had him thinking, "Am I REALLY supposed to announce THIS?" Such a robbery. And yes, in a big fight, a one point win for a guy who clearly didn't do enough, is a flat out robbery. Stop all the watering down BS. People know who won all day long.
it was a great close fight but why isn't anyone complain about the holding kov did when ward tried to get on the inside??? it was a great game plan because clearly ward would have the advantage inside but where are the complaints about the holding? the fight could have gone either way, the judged all scoring round 10 for ward is the deciding factor. that round was too close to call. props to both of these legends they both deserve respect.

Yeah and no complaints about the holding... im seeing a lot of people say it was a great gameplan to hold to keep ward from establishing his inside game which is true, but if ward held like that it would be the topic of the day.
