I didnt score the fight as i wanted to enjoy it but this seems like the correct score.
No way can i give Ward more than 5, and that's being generous to him.
Going backwards and throwing single shots all night does NOT win you fights, someone please show me where he landed a 3+ punch combination on kovalev because i never saw one.

this guy is the prime example of the guys screaming robbery....listening to HBO and nerds such as "golovkin" you don't want to sit down and score the fight because it's not your intention to find out whats what. you just want to b*tch all day and ride off of a fake nerd wave that kovalov got robbed......your hate for another fighter (in ward) clouds your judgment so much to the point where you can't even sit down and score the fight for yourself. you would rather live in HBO's drama & the nerds on boxingscene.com horse **** show........

you don't want to see any other realty because you LOVE living in the fantasy of kovalov being robbed. you love it.

Just rewatched it and scored it. Had it 144-113 Ward. No bias i was even trying to be generous with some rounds to kov. Ward definitaly won the second half and had an early round. He wins a really close one judges got it right.

I have the same card.

On my first watch I gave Kovalev round 3 and that gave me 114-113 Kovalev.

Ward clearly won round 3 though some might have thought at first watch like yourself so that's understandable...I had to re-watch the 3rd myself along with the rest of the fight...props for making adjustments in your scoring and being honest...

By the way lederman and lampley are way too bias dont listen to them. Ledermans scorecard was trash. Kellerman seemed like the only objective commentator.

It kind of seems like kovalev fans just look at the knockdown and automatically think he wins the fight because of that. Aside from the knockdown all rounds where very close and ward managed to edge alot of them with defense and bodywork on the inside along with hooks and stiff jabs. He slipped kovs shots and got on the inside to do work and slipped out again rinse and repeat and took rounds that way. Kov seemed a little frustrated towards the end and missed alot.

Speaking of living in a fantasy world. What you mean like the only people that think Ward won are the judges and some ward fans (many admit he lost)

Nearly all the boxing journalists had kovalev winning, many pundits, the vast of majority of this forum (not that means a whole lot)
