I didnt score the fight as i wanted to enjoy it but this seems like the correct score.
No way can i give Ward more than 5, and that's being generous to him.
Going backwards and throwing single shots all night does NOT win you fights, someone please show me where he landed a 3+ punch combination on kovalev because i never saw one.

I had it 114-113 for Ward. There were maybe 4 or 5 rounds that could have went either way, & I think I gave 2 or 3 of them to Ward. I just don't see how people are claiming it was a robbery when it was an extremely close fight that could have went either way. Kovalev won 4 out of the 6 first rounds while Ward won 5 out of the last 6 in my opinion. It's as close of a fight as you can get, but definitely not a robbery.

This was my score watching live on UK tv. I'll be watching the HBO broadcast in a few hours.

HBO was horrendous. They dismissed Ward after the KD and Max (of all people) had to remind them that the fight wasn't over just yet. Even when Ward was winning rounds clearly, Jim would say "Ward wins the round and Kovalev steals it with a jab". Lol... Whut?

I can't wait to watch the Sky version.

Ward landed the better shots in 3,5 and 8..he controlled those rounds..and there was no knockdown in round 5.....round 6 and 2 were Kovalevs best rounds..what are you on about? hell i'll post the entire fight and we can go from there

round 3 is anything but "controlled" by Ward, it's literally separated by jabs. That's a pickem round.

So far everybody has the same card.

Doubt it, but the general sense is that everyone seems to have understood the flow of the fight; disastrous for Ward early, was able to sort of right things out 3-5, and then was able to clearly edge the back end of the fight.

Paulie was giving ward a lot of credit. Probably too much. I think most of sky gave it to ward tho
