I thought the 10th was one of the clear Kovalev rounds in the fight. Looking back afterwards it does seem like people finding reasons to give every close round to Ward.

to give ward 114-113 you would have to give every single half close round to ward, for one of the judges to do that is bad, for all of them to do that is downright disgusting. tell me what rounds ward won CLEARLY people? then there was a bunch of close ones and people must have given every single one of them to ward. I was also under the impression that usually the clsoe rounds go to the guy coming forward, if theres absolutely nothing to split them. or they should be even, not to the ****ing guy landing nothing who wont engage

Exactly. The only way you can give Ward some of these rounds is if you legit make it a point of emphasis to give Ward the close rounds just because you want him to have those rounds

I really think Kovalev was almost hurt by his reputation. In one of the threads someone asked how you could give 3 and 4 to Kovalev bc he didn't do *****. Ward didn't do anything in those rounds either. Sergey had to live up to the reputation of being a relentless stalker landing huge shots, and if that didn't happen that round went to Ward.

            That's so true.

            I count bodyshots..

            Evidently the judges did too.

                  Remember

Body shots are counted as scoring blows.

Kovalev didn't land enough headshots to overcome Ward's work downstairs.

Ward took away kovalev's jab to the body and replaced it with his own.

                    He gassed Kovalev.

Kovalev "slowed down" and STILL landed more punches then Ward. (on a round by round basis, I'm not even saying for the duration of the entire fight).

That's the best you got, I mean, really? Its come down to this? Just rewatch the fight dude, you'll see the light. Lol
