Close fight, everybody thinks their fighter won. Ward seems to have done what many pundits said he would. He lost the first half, made adjustments and was the better fighter in the second half. Stop ******** crying.

Bad decision, equally bad HBO commentary
It was an atrocious decision by the judges coupled by an equally biased blow-by-blow commentary by Max Kellerman, who is usually fair and impartial. Watch the replay of the fight and see how Kellerman calls every glancing shot landed by Ward but virtually ignores Kovalez's punches in many of the exchanges. Kudos to Harold Lederman for scoring it spot on, eight rounds to four for Kovalev.

Canelo is ****, a normal counter puncher, and?
You Americans are sicks of patriotism.
Ward lost, he won because he was the hoe of the home, but he was excessively mediocre.
Imagine this ****** performance in Rusia or Mexico. No way he would win, but this was in U.S.A.
Robbery. Plus Kova was the champ.Originally posted by NYC8224 View PostStay in your ****ty country *******

The entire world saw Kovalev win.
Look at this btw, the reporter mentions Jim Lampley suggesting it would have been very difficult for Kovalev to get a decision,

I thought Ward won 5 rounds, but the KD definitely won Kovalev the fight, even if Ward won 6 rounds! No way did Ward win 7 rounds! Kovalev needs an inside game! Ward beat him to the body pretty good, and you could tell it was effective by Round 9.
