I guess that's why he coasted for the last 6. Didn't realize Ward was back in the fight and winning rounds.
Wonder what JDJ was telling him that whole time.

Truthfully, when Kovalev got a little tired his punches were lacking quality and Ward, who managed to wake up and come on strong, just took over. Kovalev faded a bit and I don't think he could have done a whole lot about that.

Ward won about 5 rounds. I can also see how some had him winning 6, but no way did he win 7.

Kovalev salty in defeat. He needs to rewatch the fight and see where he lost it, because he barely took a round from 6 onwards.

Pretty shameful. Ward might have won 5 rounds at best and did some dirty stuff along the way. Still not a fan of these fighters who are eye cancer

agreed the momentum of the fight changed from the sixth on even Hunter was telling him "has he wore down?" instructing andre to get physical and frustrate him.

Loved the fight, not pretty but exciting as hell, cant wait for the rematch.

Kovalev power is the real deal but Dre is a crafty mofo, i have SOG on the rematch again.
