Barely taking a round from 6 onward, still gets him at worse a draw. Thats the problem.

For ward to win, you have to give him all of the last 6 rounds, or be silly and give him 2 of the first 5.

6-12 is 7 rounds, not 6.

He didn't lose the first 5 rounds. Winning only one of those + losing only one of rds 6-12 gives him 7 rounds.

Yeah except Kovalev dominated the first six, then Ward got better but only enough to make the next six even. So first six rounds to Kovalev, then 3-3, 9-3 total. Or you could make the first six 5-1 Kovalev, the next four 4-2 Ward if you're generous, and it's still 7-5 Kovalev plus a knockdown.

All Ward did was hold, get some inside body work, and land a few nice jabs. That's it. Kellerman was selling the robbery the whole time acting like Ward was landing Chavez Sr. type body shots. No, those are nice little shots in between holds, nice little inside shots. Those aren't vicious body shots. Nice little pit-pat body shots inside. Nice jabs. Basically, the two weakest type of punches in boxing, jabs and small inside shots to the body, are all Ward landed all fight.

Kovalev meantime was also landing just as many jabs, and more powerful ones, plus actual headshots from the outside, with extension, real shots. And he outlanded Ward overall, and with power shots, and threw more. And got the knockdown. Anyone who thinks Ward won is tripping.

I had 6,7,8,9,11,12 all Ward, plus either 3 or 4 (can't remember which), some rounds were very close so I don't know how people are calling robbery. Three professional judges all got the same score, lots of others got Ward winning.

I'm not a Ward fan, I can't stand religion and that Jesus shìt, I'm white and from the UK - I just scored the fight how I saw it. Ward negated Kov's offence after the first few rounds and took a close decision through better work as Kov became tired and frustrated.
