Good fight! Sure hope the rematch comes sooner than later! I had Kovalev winning 5 of the first 6 rds with two of them being really close! I had ward winning 5 of the last 6 rds with of them two being really close. The fight could have went either way but Kovalev should have went all out during the second half of the fight. It seems like he stated to fade or felt like he had the fight won. It also seem like Kovalev gave Ward to much respect. Kovalev should have walk through Ward but he didn't & it cost him the fight. Kovalev spent too much time trying to show Ward who was the strongest instead of fighting.

I don't think he can according to Duva. They say the rematch clause states that he has to fight Kov next unless they both agree a interim fight is ok, which she won't .

No point in rematch. Wards too crafty to get knocked out clean and if it goes the distance he automatically wins whatever happens. More I think about it that was a disgusting robbery, for three judges to give ward 8 rounds Is something else.

Good fight, Ward caught his rhythm mid-way through the fight but Kovalev had a response for it, being generous Ward at best did enough for a draw.

The way I see it if roles reversed and the fight was in Russia ward would be lucky to get 3 rounds. The fact it was so close even in america shows kov won easy.
