The best way to settle this is for Ward fans to point the 7 rounds he supposedly took from Kovalev.

It was very easy to find 6 rounds for kovalev. Harder to find 6 for ward. Was 7-5 or 6-6 but that KD should've won it for kovalev.

This. Man this is tragicomical, even Kovalev is laughing. Lampley was telling the truth the whole time, indirectly saying again and again, that american judges robbed Kovalev. And like you are saying, it was easy to find 6 rounds for Kovalev, much harder to find them for Ward. I calculated their scorecards, it means they gave Kovalev 4 10-9 rounds and one 10-8 round and they gave 7 rounds to Ward. It's really tragicomical, I'm still lauging, just like Sergey during the postfight interview.

Btw big props to Kovalev, I thought Ward would win the fight by a much clearer margin. He doesn't lose any credibility after a performance like that.

Ward never won this fight, you cant give him more than 6 rounds, no way. Then that knockdown and Ward just landed a few pitty patty jabs while Kovalev looks fresh like he never got hit, Ward looks beat up. It was clear that Kovalev will not get a fair shake in the USA with 3 American Judges. Thats boxing nowadays. Sad.

Yes, I'd have much rather watched the man in your display picture I mean sure Kovalev was chasing to want to fight but like I said in thread before...

At the very least we can take solace in knowing that this fight was just a robbery and we can't take the decision seriously compare the faces and compare the stats the proof is in the pudding sorry guys but a jab isn't worth more than a power shot and being on the front foot whilst landing predominately power shots is even better...

Lederman had it a near shutout. As did most of the journalists etc. Kovalev's real percentage landed was close to 10% and 'Punchstats' had him outlanding Ward... just laughable.

I was in the passenger seat of the Ward War Wagon but man Kovalev won this fight. And as a Ward fan it's not hard to admit cuz I love the sport and frankly this is the shyt we don't need.

the bias of the american and british system for assuming that fighters renowned for defense don't get hit while playing defense is so obvious......all the clean jabs and uppercuts Kova landed went ignored because "Ward has great defense doe"
