Never was a Ward fan but he really earned my respect tonight. He showed a ton of heart and determination. I had it for Kovalev but it was close enough to go either way.

All of those screaming robbery let me know you know nothing about Boxing or the scoring system. A whole load of ineffective aggression after the KD. It was a matador bull fight Kovalev was frustrated tonight and he lost BOTH championship rounds.

Lederman had it a near shutout. As did most of the journalists etc. Kovalev's real percentage landed was close to 10% and 'Punchstats' had him outlanding Ward... just laughable.

No way he really outlanded Ward.

After the knockdown he answered everything Kovalev threw at him with just as much conviction and cleaner. But I definitely will watch the fight again.

Yeah for me it's a joke but I don't want to sound like a mad boxing fan, hopefully a rematch would be sorted out. It was a close fight but I just didn't think Ward did enough, Kov is the champion and the challenger needs to go and get that belt.

All the challenger has to do is win the fight.

Whether it be 1 point or 12.

And Ward won it by 1.
