you might wanna rewatch the fight, both guys immediately went to wrap each other up everytime Kovalev would miss his straight right hand over the top.

kovalev spent most of the fight head hunting, Ward was actually doing inside work everytime they were "wrestling"

To be fair, I think Sergey was doing that to stop ward from having a chance to use his head on the inside.

This sport is so ridiculously set up. It was close-ish. Kovalev had Ward stunned multiple times + the knockdown. What a complete joke.

And those of you who say it was a legitimate win. The last fight ALONE WAS SET UP TOO.

Btw big props to Kovalev, I thought Ward would win the fight by a much clearer margin. He doesn't lose any credibility after a performance like that.

Great fight imo.

Win or lose Ward showed why he's such a great fighter, Kovalev is a beast but was trying too hard in the last half of the fight.

Thought either fighter could have won so I don't think it was a robbery.

I hope to see a rematch.
