Does boxing need more fighters like Sergey Kovalev or like Andre Ward?

I see an article saying boxing needs more fighters like Andre Ward.

    This puzzles me.

Does boxing need more boring stay-at-home, privileged prima donnas with big egos and smug feelings of entitlement? Boxers who need to use illegal tactic to win? Boxers who clinch, clamp, headbutt, elbow and hold?

Or does boxing need more fearless ring warriors with seek-and-destroy aggressiveness? Humble honest brave men who are willing to fight anywhere. More boxers who are exciting to watch in the ring?

I think boxing needs more fighters like Sergey Kovalev. What do you think?

Both. Two great fighters putting it all on the line. Man, how the hell do you hate on Ward? The guy is taking on such a hugely dangerous fight.

You're in so much pain and Kovalev hasn't even took loss yet.

Redd Foxx thinks boxing needs more prima donnas like Andre Ward?

        Why would anybody like Ward?

Both are great but the sport itself will benefit more with fighters like Kovalev. He brings action, brutality and excitement into the ring.

Ward while great doesnt generate that same enthusiasm across the board. It also doesn't help that he has the personality of unpainted drywall.

But if both fighters were unwilling to leave their home country, this fight would never have been made.
