Ward is already fighting someone Carl. But you ain't.So since you could beat Golovkin right now,why not? You talked about a Ward rematch yourself ,but your special condition was it had to be in the UK.You talked about Degale, but he was too boring. You talked about Calzaghe when he was retired for years. And before when you he was fighting Jones and Hopkins and you were going 12 with Barney and he was "ducking" you.Comment

Wrong on both points. Nobody is begging him, and he's not an easy payday. Froch would still beat all current SMWs, at the very worst coming in at Top3, and he would be at least 15 lbs heavier than Golovkin.Comment

Fight fit versus fight fit, I have no doubt that Froch has the confidence that he'll win the fight (and rightfully so, imo); the issue comes down to, after nearly three years out of the ring, getting the weight off to hit an actual target number. This is the side of Carl Froch I absolutely adore.
Two and a half years into retirement, approaching middle age, but STILL has the unshakable belief that he is the best, and would wreck Golovkin. Of course, GGG detractors and fans are going to either agree or disagree with the statement due to their own personal biases. I don't even care about how true or false the statement is, the fact Carl Froch BELIEVES it to be true is what I admire the most.
This is the **** champions are made of. Many will call it delusion, personally, I call it the confidence of a true champion.
Froch is 6'1, is long as ****, can take a heck of a shot, and has bombs in his hands in his own right; you add that Golovkin's style isn't anything that Froch has already dealt with, and Froch's only real concern is likely how much of the likely near 200lbs that he's carrying can he work off without affecting his ability to fight.Comment

Why ggg begging retired boxers for a fight? Sign the fight with Jacobs, give him his money and make it happen but no, wants to play boxing politics games. Not a good look.Comment
