He would have proved he could carry his power to 175 and put down guys at that size. kovalev has no fear what so ever of Ward hurting him. Ward has never hurt someone at 175, dawson was at 171 or some BS.

Didn't read the article, but I agree with the article title.

Kovalev is just the wrong type of fighter for Andre Ward to square off against. He's crafty, has crippling power, and has the tools needed to execute a legitimate gameplan, with his skill-set. Something that no previous Ward opponent has had. The corpse of Chad Dawson was as close as it gets out of all of them.

I mean, it's not a bad thing for Ward, I say he's better then every other single fighter at 168-175, and nobody else would even come close to beating him (aside from Golovkin), KOvalev is simply a once-in-a-generation type of fighter and that is evident by the fact that he's always going to be a bad matchup for any fighter.

Kovalev's total package is one that completely imposes it's will on every other fighters package of tools, and a fighter without at the least A+ power is not going to stand a chance against Kovalev, IMO. Ward would have to put on one of the best boxing performances in the history of the sport for 12 rounds to win this match, and I think Ward is going to take a steady, sustained beating.

What Sanchez said was Brand didn't belong in the same ring with Ward. Abel trains Barrera, Brand doesn't have a trainer because he couldn't afford one on what he was getting paid to fight Andre. lol

It doesnt matter what ive done in boxing...the only thing that matters is that you sparred "Alfonso Gomez...an 'elite' fighter hahahahahah..a guy whos never even been world champion and lost every big fight, a guy whose biggest win came against soto karass lol... truly amazing, huge name Gomez is, i think everyone here would have loved to share the ring with him just to live the experience hahahahaah
