Krusher is definitely more dangerous though. Let's see how Ward fights him then we will talk.
I don't see GGG as faster than Kovalev. I think they are pretty equal in speed. Kovalev is also more athletic than GGG. He can pop in and out of the pocket more fluidly. That's the main reason why I think he beats Ward. Guys like Froch and Kessler weren't just smaller, they were more stiff, not as atheltic.

I find it hard to believe but it's possible Krusher is faster. Either way, We know Ward is gonna have to dance his way out of this so he better hope he did his road work!

Probably something like oh kovo doesnt have the skill set and power that GGG has. GGG knocks Ward out within 5.
Sounds about right don't you think

And Hopkins - Tarver was almost certainly the biggest money fight available to Bernard, and at the time I believe the second largest payday of his career (behind ODLH) He'd also just lost twice at 160 and AFAIR there was really no big names there left for him to face anyway. Again, this ain't to discredit Hopkins in any way - but it ain't sacrilegious to recognise that 'daring to be great' is almost always 'daring to be rich'.
This isn't about Sanchez saying something ******. He says ****** **** all the time. I'm talking about the way he threw Barrera under the bus at the post fight conference. I've never seen a trainer do that in my life. That's how I know it's something personal against Ward. Even Ward addressed the things Sanchez said after the fight.

160 had bigger names than Antonio Tarver.
            Winky Wright
            Kelly Pavlik
            Cory Spinks
            Paul Williams was coming up

Pavlik and Wright dared to be great and fought Hopkins at a higher weight. I know money plays a part in the decision as it should. But these guys were asking for something crazy and turning down eight figure paydays, double what they had ever been paid.

So basically you weren't slating Sanchez for what he said about Kovalev / Ward, but because you think he's got an agenda?

And none of the fights you mentioned would have netted Hopkins close to $5 mil at that time - especially not as a defeated champion. P.Will and Pavlik were nobodies at the time the Tarver fight was made, Cory was a beaten WW ex-champ and Winky was gunning for Gold with Taylor.
Like I say it was a bold move but to pretend it was just about chasing greatness would be either naive or disingenuous.

If it makes you feel any better, 2 weeks later Juan Lazcano probably cracked one of my ribs. It hurt for 3 months. Lou Cipher has been in the ring with many of the fighters you actually get fatter while watching and criticizing from your Grandma's couch, touching her remote with your cheeto stained fingers...leaving the same stains you leave on her computer keyboard while macking on babes and telling Professional Boxers about Boxing. You **********.
