Floyd self proclaim himself as TBE but feels he doesn't get the respect he deserves. Conner also feel he's the best ever in UFC but seems to get more respect for what he's done for his sport than Floyd does in boxing! Why is that? A lot of boxing fans feel Floyd is a great fighter but hasn't really challenged himself to actually be the greatest. You see it all the time in boxing, when fighters wait for the so call "right timing" to face other good boxers. Many people feel Floyd's greatest wins came at the worst times compared to facing a guy when he's in his prime. I personally believe Hatton was in his prime and Corralas was in his prime but everyone knew Corralas has some type of emotional problems before that fight. I do give Floyd credit for those wins. Now, we're talking about Dela Hoya, Mosley, Manny, Cotto, etc. are guys most people feel was past there prime when they fought Floyd. Canelo wasn't in his prime at the time he fought Floyd & it showed! I'm not saying Floyd wouldn't have won those fights but fans wanted to see him challenge himself. The back-to-back fights against Chino didn't help & the so call farewell fight against Berto was, lets just say "left a bad taste in the fans mouth". The moral of Floyd story is the fighting specific fighters at the so call "right time". Conner on the other hand doesn't have the luxury of picking fighters at the "right time". On top of that, you know your getting your moneys worth when Conner fights. Conner doesn't need his opponent to have a name that can sell because the UFC is built on excitement no matter who's fighting. As of recently, Conner has been challenging himself in ways never seen in the UFC. Fans respect fighters who challenges themselves & not necessarily the guys who have an undefeated record. Floyd is great at what he does but most true boxing fans can name five great boxers with at least one lost who's greater than Floyd! (Ali, Lenard, Holyfield, Louis, Duran, etc. Just my opinion!

That came off as real petty. Why take offense? You aren't in the same sport, its a blessing to be cross platformed considering he isn't even fighting anymore. Not to say there isn't reason for him to be insult in some ways but at least put a positive spin on it. Call it the Mayweather effect or something but damn cool off.

Conor Mcgregor should never be mentioned in the same breath as Floyd. He already got exposed. The only person who deserves to be along side Floyd is Anderson Spider Silva. Or even GSP. But Conor hasnt been in the game long enough. I don't want to see he and Floyd fight box because Floyd would beat him severely. I don't want to see an MMA match because he would kick Floyd's legs or grab him.

in the past year connor has moved up 25 pounds. thats 1 more pound than floyd did his entire career. he also beat the champ in 2 divisions and in ufc 1 division is equal to 2 boxing divisions so that would be equal to 4 lineal titles. advantage connor already.
