Carl, you may be right. The thing is though, you gotta prove it and 166 was a lot closer to 168 than it was to 160. Let that sink in.

Don't be skurd. Show us how much the size will play a part. GGG is willing to go 170 now that all his options at mw are headed for the hills with their tails between their legs.

On a side note.....Cotto, be a man and fight GGG. You grew a sack and beat up on old Sergio. Why not Gennady?

Why is this silly catchweight bollocks even getting a look in.If Froch were he to fight again would really be a comfortable 175lb and GGG has stated he can make 154lbs for the right fight.Froch is right G. is too small , weights are there for a reason ...safety and fairness.
Catch Weights are a promoters dream it gives them more scope but the truth is they are not fair ,where a fighter has to cut down considerably more than normal just to make this freak weight is more than often dangerous to do so.

if marty feldman was ever fool enough to step into the ring with Triple GGG the beating he would sustain would be unprecedented in the history of boxing as for 172 why don't marty feldman go to lightheavyweight and take on stevenson who he DUCKED at 168 marty feldman is a fraud

            ---------------------------------------------------------------

I agree with Froch. GGG is in fact a small MW. And unless he's ready to do 172, it's really not worth it. GGG fans think their hero is some kind of superman. It's like seat belts. Once you pass a certain speed, even seat belts won't save you when you're in a wreck. Froch would just man-handle the little fireplug 'round for a few rounds, then take him out. And Froch isn't even that fast.

GGG was already the WBA champion when he fought Geale, you weak minded fool.

"Duh .. he got promoted to super champ doe, so the WBA would have another world title for Jacobs and Quillin to fight for"

Why do you allow that kind of bullshit from the sanctioning orgs to dictate the way you think about the sport?

what happened to that "anyone from 154-168" bullshht?

of all the fighters that Mr 154-168 could be expected to make concessions for, don't you think that Mr 154-168 could have made concessions for 2 SUPERSTARS like Cotto and Froch?

I would really like to hear a reason why cute lil Gennady expected Cotto and Froch to bend-over for him on the weight?..... because I didn't actually see one in your post

there is no reason whatsoever why old/retired Froch could be expected to drop weight, and the only possible reason for Cotto could be that he held the WBC middleweight title

but that reason doesn't hold up when you consider the fact that the superstar Cotto weighed 153, and Golovkin tried to pull catchweights on both Ward and Froch

if Golovkin isn't big enough to demand catchweights from Ward and Froch, he is dreaming if he thinks that Cotto is going to give him an advantage

so, Golovkin will fight Mayweather and Pacquiao at 154, but he won't even negotiate on the weight with lil 153lb Cotto?

                    come on man

this is coming from an asshat who wants to award Golovkin for breaking Hopkins record by defending the WBA interim title against bums and no-hopers

that title reign is bogus, and you know it
